I have always been a child of the arts, forever trying to express and recreate the world around me. My early love of Robert Bateman and Dan DeCarlo led to an obsession with drawing, and nothing could deter me from my pencil and paper. Enrolled in various art programs throughout my youth, including a summer program with the Emily Carr institute, I have been able to pursue my artistic passions in various ways. Citing a love of body art, I began tattooing full time in 2004, and I enjoy a variety of styles. I am also very comfortable, as well, with complex cover up tattoos, and love being able to give my clients art they can love, whether the skin is new or in need of some re-vamping. From painting to sewing, sculpture to tattooing, I would love to help you create your vision, no matter the medium.
Happiness for me is based in variety. As a multifaceted practitioner, my mediums range from cloth, to skin, to canvas, to paper, and many more. I believe strongly that creative process cannot be limited to one substance alone, and it may take a variety of items to truly express and create.
Inspiration can come in many forms. I find I draw my inspiration from not only the bustle of life surrounding us each day, but nature, poetry and even dreams. My love of fantasy fuels my style, and I am fond of traditional as well as unorthodox imagery, found in all forms. Inspiration comes from everywhere.
